Engaging Activities for Every Alzheimer’s Stage
July 13, 2021 | 2:00 p.m.
Bethel Park Historical Society
2600 South Park Road, Bethel Park, PA 15102
Presented by Loretta Veney, CPP, Author, Motivational Speaker, Trainer
When Loretta’s mom, Doris, was diagnosed with dementia, she began learning everything she could about the disease in hopes of sharing that information so others could be more prepared for this devastating diagnosis than she had been.
Loretta has learned that keeping your loved one engaged is important throughout all stages of Alzheimer’s disease. Join us as she shares a variety of activities that will engage and delight. You will find her recommended activities easy to purchase or make without breaking your budget. Loretta is also happy to demonstrate activities upon request.
Please RSVP By Friday, July 9th
Tours of the Historical Society will be available after the event, if interested. Location is handicapped-accessible.

Conscious Compassionate Care for Care Partners
August 10, 2021 | 6:30 p.m.
Presented by Lori La Bey, Founder & CEO of Alzheimer’s Speaks, LLC, and Co-Founder of Global Resource Directory DementiaMap.com; Lori is internationally respected for her work in the field of dementia and caregiving
We will explore the underbelly of giving care in a safe, fun environment. By exploring things most people don’t dare talk about, we can identify what is dragging us down, ripping at our soul and making us feel less than when we are working so hard to be more than we ever have been. This process can help you find the peace, balance and joy you deserve in your life, not only when caring for another, but throughout your life.
Please Register By Sunday, August 8th
